On Oct. 2, 2024, Seoul National University of Science and Technology (Seoul Tech) held a ceremony in its president’s office at Gongneung-dong, Nowon-gu, Seoul, to appoint Dr. Kang Seung Jun as Vice President for External Affairs and International Affairs.
 
Dr. Kang, a professor in the Department of Future Energy Convergence, is an alumnus of Shinil High School (15th graduating class) and holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Seoul National University, as well as a doctorate in economics from the University of Missouri. His professional background includes roles as an auditor at the Bank of Korea and a fiscal manager at the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
