Graduate School of SeoulTech-KIRAMS Medical Science
The SeoulTech-KIRAMS Graduate School of Medical Science, established through collaboration between Seoul National University of Science and Technology and the Korea Institute of Radiological and Medical Sciences, aims to cultivate global talent that will lead the advancement of medical science through regional partnerships with universities, hospitals, and research institutes. This graduate school provides a research and educational foundation for developing and advancing innovative medical science technologies by integrating various fields such as basic biology, fine chemistry, biophysics, AI and data science, electronics, and ICT. It also focuses on nurturing creative and convergent talents who can lead cutting-edge research in various fields including clinical medicine, innovative drug development, radiation diagnosis and treatment, and medical policy.
The core talent cultivation areas are divided into four main domains: basic biomedical science, drug development, diagnostics and clinical practice, and medical policy and regulation. These areas encompass various academic disciplines including developmental biology, genetics, immunology, radiation therapy, medical devices, and regulatory science. Through this graduate school's curriculum, students will acquire advanced medical technologies such as radiation-intensive therapy and develop into leaders of innovation in the medical field through research utilizing the latest technologies like biomedical material development and AI-based drug design.
