The King Sejong Institute Quezon City was opened by Seoul National University of Science and Technology (SeoulTech) on Friday, August 26th at UST Angelicum College, located in Quezon City, part of metropolitan Manila in the Philippines. Angelicum College is headed by President Rev. Fr. Herminio V. Dagohoy, O.P.

 

 

The King Sejong Institute is a Korean language and cultural education institution operated by the King Sejong Institute Foundation (Hai-young Lee, president), a public institution under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. As of June 2022, the Foundation operates 244 institutes in 84 countries around the world.

 

Established in 1972, UST Angelicum College boasts a 50-year history. It holds Level III accreditation from the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU).

 

In addition to Korean language classes, King Sejong Institute in Quezon City will hold various Korean culture education programs such as Korean speech contests and Korean Culture Day.
