- Online job community set up to support employment counseling  

- Strengthening competitiveness in the job market by gaining vital career know-how from alumni 

A launching ceremony for the ST Alumni Mentor Group was held on Friday, August 26th by the SeoulTech Office of Career Development.

As systematic employment support infrastructure intended to strengthen career support for current students and increase their employment rate, the ST Alumni Mentor Group is an online job community where students can receive advice anytime throughout the year, benefiting from the career know-how of alumni who have had job-seeking success.

As of August 2022, counseling is being offered through the online alumni mentoring system by some 100 senior mentors working in large conglomerates and public enterprises.

Among the roughly 100 attendees of the launching ceremony were university president Donghoon Lee as well as the president of the alumni association, alumni professors, alumni employees, alumni graduates, and the student body president.

"The vital information shared by alumni will be of great help to students preparing for the job market,” said President Donghoon Lee. He added, "I hope alumni mentors will be generous in sharing the skills and wisdom they have accumulated while preparing for employment and while on the job in their workplaces."
