On June 8, Jihye Jeon, CEO of Stans Co., Ltd., and a corporate graduate of the Center for Business Incubation, donated 3 million won to the Seoul National University of Science and Technology (hereinafter referred to as SeoulTech) development fund to vitalize university students’ startups and support the operation and startup scholarship of the Center for Business Incubation.

Stans Co., Ltd. is a digital twin (a virtual representation that serves as the digital counterpart of real-world physical machines, equipment, objects, etc.) visualization company that researches 3D object generation technology, AI-based data analysis, and data visualization technology. The company was founded in 2017 by a SeoulTech graduate student who joined the Center for Business Incubation as a prospective founder in 2016.

"During our residency in SeoulTech's Center for Business Incubation, we were able to facilitate a scale-up through the incubation and support of various programs," commented CEO Jihye Jeon. She added, "We will continue to contribute to the success and the vitalization of students’ startups."

Meanwhile, SeoulTech's Startup Support Foundation works with other systematic startup organizations, such as incubation centers, entrepreneurship education centers, commercialization support centers, and Maker support centers. The foundation’s goal is to discover and provide full cycle support for new start-ups through government financial support projects such as a prospective founder package (green economy) and Makerspace establishment and operation project.

In particular, the Center for Business Incubation has 33 rooms in two buildings and operates various incubation programs such as education and consulting for companies that have moved into the center.
