SeoulTech Computer Science Major Professor Park Jong Hyuk’s Human-centric Computing and Information Sciences (HCIS) journal, where he serves as the Editor in Chief, was listed in the Computer Science, Information Systems field Q1 with an impact factor of 3.700 in the 2019 Journal Citation Reports announced by Clarivate Analytics.

It is the first time that a national journal has been listed as Q1 in this field. Moreover, Professor Park’s journal ranked 37/156 or in the top 23.7% globally.

Professor Park not only serves as the Editor in Chief of HCIS but also contributes to academic development as a Leading Guest Editor for the IEEE IoT journal (IF: 9.936) and IEEE TII journal (IF: 9.112) Special Issue as well as the Editor for global SCIE journals.
