On Oct. 30, Seoul National University of Science and Technology (Seoul Tech) successfully hosted the Promenade: A Fall Music Walk for a Worthy Cause at the 100th Memorial Hall.

The concert, designed to celebrate the university’s ongoing growth and foster community harmony, featured classical and crossover performances, creating a vibrant autumn evening atmosphere.

In his opening address, President Kim Dong Hwan remarked, “This event was organized to elevate Seoul Tech’s prestige, contribute to its development, and build stronger ties and a favorable relationship with the local community. I hope tonight becomes a cherished memory for all.”

The show host, Choi Ki-hwan, introduced the program, urging attendees to support the university’s journey beyond its 114th anniversary.

The event lifted its curtains with a marvelous piece by Orchestra The Original, led by Artistic Director Adriel Kim, performing the overture to Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro. Violinist Danny Koo, a recent collaborator of Yuhki Kuramoto in the Credia Park Concert and an artist who showcases a diverse repertoire spanning classical, jazz, and pop genres, then took the stage with the orchestra. The Original followed with a standalone performance, energizing the audience before the grand finale by LA POEM, the Phantom Singer 3 champions, who recently completed a successful U.S. tour and a solo concert at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts.

A faculty member expressed admiration, stating, “It was awe-inducing to see such high-caliber performances on campus.” A student said, “It was an unforgettable evening, blending the crisp autumn air with the dynamic energy of the performances.”
