SeoulTech School of Liberal Arts Professor Choi Hyung-sub delivered a lecture on Naver TV's "Open Lectures” channel. The lecture was part of the Science and Technology Today series: "Modern Warfare and Advanced Science and Technology.”
Naver "Open Lectures" is a channel that provides objective and rigorous reviews on various humanities and science topics. It operates to offer insights into contemporary issues through lectures by prominent intellectuals in Korea.

Through this lecture, Professor Choi examined the conventional views on technology and warfare from a broader historical perspective.
He discussed the unique social aspects of warfare and issues arising from using advanced military technologies in the 21st century.

Professor Choi Hyung-sub holds a Bachelor's degree (Materials Science and Engineering) from Seoul National University, a Master's degree (History and Sociology of Technology and Science) from Georgia Tech, and a PhD (History of Science and Technology) from Johns Hopkins University. He is currently an associate professor at SeoulTech School of Liberal Arts.
His notable works include Will the Future Be Better? and translations such as Modern Science in Crisis, A People's History of Science, and American Prometheus (Special Edition).
