The screening, based on the criteria of marketability, design, and production feasibility, was followed by an awards ceremony on Monday, August 29. Sungeun Shim was awarded the Emons Award, the grand prize presented by the competition’s chief sponsor, Emons Furniture.

The award-winning ‘Pen Tool Furniture Series’ presents artistic furniture possessing a curvilinear feel, inspired by the characteristics of the Pen Tool used to draw freehand lines in Adobe programs such as Illustrator.
