Professor Kwon Chang-hyeon from SeoulTech Department of Visual Design appointed the new president of Kaywon University of Arts

Professor Kwon Chang-hyeon, who graduated from the SeoulTech Department of Visual Design, became the first internal professor at Kaywon University of Art and Design (Kaywon University) to become the university president. Kaywon University Chairman Kim Myung-gyu held a board meeting on December 27, appointing Kwon Chang-hyeon, professor of Visual Design, as the 10th president of the institute.

Professor Kwon Chang-hyeon completed his bachelor’s degree in Visual Design at SeoulTech, his master’s at Middlesex University, London, and his Ph.D. at the University of London (Goldsmith College).

His term as president is from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2024. Upon appointment, President Kwon noted, "Kaywon University is a 100% art and design specialized university that teaches the convergence of art, design, and science.

From its inception to the 2021 academic year, both freshmen and current student enrollment rates have been 100%.” He added, “With the goals of student success and educational performance management, we look forward to taking Kaywon University another leap forward.”
