Qualifications
  • - SNUST affiliated college or department confirmed on laboratory schedule according to ‘plan for using Laboratory Center’ submitted by the dean
  • - SNUST faculty wanting to use laboratory for experiment, practice or research purposes
  • - Graduate student that has received permission of director and confirmation of academic advisor
  • - Student that has received permission of director and confirmation of dean of affiliated department (major)
  • - Researcher of another institution that has received permission of director
Procedure of use
  • - The dean must submit the laboratory use plan for the following semester written by the professor in charge of the relevant course to the Laboratory Center. Submission must be completed within 6 weeks of the beginning of every semester. The director of the Laboratory Center must report a written laboratory schedule prior to the formation of the relevant college (department) schedule.
  • - The results of using the Laboratory Center laboratory must be presented according to the laboratory journal to be used as lecture records and data for laboratory use of the Laboratory Center.
  • - To execute experiment/analysis duties through the use of Laboratory Center equipment, one must request use to the manager of the relevant office 2 days in advance. The request must be made based on the ‘application form for using Laboratory Center’ and the permission of the director must be obtained.
  • - To execute experiment/analysis duties through the use of expensive precision equipment (including research equipment), one must request use to the manager of the relevant office. The request must be made based on the ‘ application form for using equipment’ and the permission of the director must be obtained. Payment of experiment/analysis fees, such as equipment/material fees, complies with separate regulations.
Service hours
  • - Laboratory Center hours are restricted as the follows.
  • - Hours may be extended by obtaining the permission of the director through a fixed procedure.
  • - Report a written laboratory schedule prior to the formation of the relevant college (department) schedule.
  • - During school year: 09:00~end of evening classes
  • - During vacation: 09:00~17:30
