Facilities
  • - Room facilities : desk, chair, bookshelf, bed, air conditioner, internet access
  • ※ Bed-linens and pillows are not provided. You can buy them from the local shop or bring your own.
  • - Communal Facilities/areas : vending machine, laundry room, water dispensers, multimedia room (audio-visual equipment), fitness room, study room, cafeteria, bathroom with shower
Admission and Cost
  • - Application must be made during the notified period, as instructed in the acceptance package.
  • - Room assignment will be done on a random basis. If you have a special request on where to live or whom to live with, you can specify it in the application form. However it is NOT guaranteed even while we try to meet your request as much as we can.
  • - Boarding Fee
  • - Sunglim Dormitory : Boarding fee is noticed on homepage of dormitory. If you want to know more specifically, you can come to dormitory office and ask about it.
  • - Boarding fee includes the fee of 3 meals a day. Even if you do not want to have meals at the cafeteria, you should pay for the meal plan. Room and meals should be purchased together and cannot be taken selectively during residence.
  • - International students can make their payment after arrival at Seoul Tech. It should be paid in cash on site. You may do it by wire transfer as instructed in the acceptance package.
Rules & Regulations
  • 1. Room will be assigned by the officer and student cannot change their room without permission.
  • 2. Any person who is not registered as a resident cannot be invited inside of the buildings.
  • 3. All residents must keep the time line set below for each activities

  • 4. Meal must be consumed within the dining room.
  • 5. Visitor can be accepted under the officer's approval between 09:00 and 20:00.
  • 6. In case of sleep-out, you should submit a note that indicates reasons for sleep-out, date and time (period), and place to sleep. Person who wants late return (do not sleep out but return lately after 22:30 before 23:40) must get a permission from the officer.
  • 7. Resident Check is to be conducted everyday (Morning 7:00, Evening 22:30). Room Status Check is to be conducted on regular basis.
  • 8. All residents should read any notice posted on the notice board. Without authorization, no material can be posted for any personal purpose. In-room phone is for receiving ONLY. Out-going call can be made through public pay phone. Regular mail can be obtained from mail box or dormitory office. Registered mail or parcel will be issued to the recipient from dormitory office.
  • 9. Disability, malfunction, or damage of facilities must be reported to the office. If resident caused any damage, they have to pay for the loss.
  • 10. Residents are responsible for fire prevention and cleanliness of room.
  • 11. Laundry room is available between 08:00 and 22:00
  • 12. Resident should make payment to dormitory within due date.
  • 13. Drinking alcohol, gambling, making noise, using personal electric products in room and any other behavior out of manner are not acceptable.
  • 14. Penalty point will be applied any resident who commits non-acceptable activities or behavior. Anyone who receives 5 points or more will be asked to leave on next day of notice. If you want to request to leave dormitory for your personal reason not because of penalty, you should give one week notice to the office and get a refund for unused meals if applicable.
