Computer Engineering Professor Sohn Il Soo published a paper in the May edition of the SCI Journal IEEE Communication Magazine, an academic journal in the top 2% JCR as IF 10.356 in the communications and network field.

Professor Sohn’s paper was on Ultra-Low-Power Implantable Medical Devices: Optical Wireless Communication Approach. Professor Sohn proposed a new communication method by which optical pulses could be used safely to transmit biological signals using ultra-low-power implantable devices and solving the problem of prolonging the limited battery capacities of implantable medical devices.
