Professor Kim Jae-hoon of the Public Administration Department Elected as the 21st President of the Korean Association For Local Finance
Professor Kim Expected to Perform Professional Research on Major Issues of Local Finance and Present Policy Alternatives

Professor Kim Jae-hoon of the SeoulTech Public Administration Department was elected as the 21st President during the General Assembly of the Korean Local Finance Association on December 21, 2018 at the Mapo District Central Library in Seoul.

The Korean Association for Local Finance was founded in 1998 and currently has more than 700 local finance experts as members. These members have undertaken professional research on key issues in local finance and presented policy alternatives.

Professor Kim Jae-hoon studied economics at Seoul National University’s Department of Economics for his BA, Seoul National University’s Department of Policy Studies for his MA, and Florida State University for his PHD. Kim has received awards from the Korean Association for Local Government and the Korean Association for Local Finance, as well as a Presidential Citation for his active research and policy activities.

Professor Kim will be in office as president of the Association for one year from January 1, 2019.
