SeoulTech Hosts 2019 STISS Program
86 International Students from 44 Universities and 26 Countries and 20 Volunteers Participated in the Program

The SeoulTech International Education Department successfully hosted the 2019 STISS (SeoulTech International Summer School) program. This was the 12th year that the STISS program was hosted with 86 international students from 44 universities and 26 countries participating in the two-week program held from July 15th to July 26th.

The International Education Department holds an international summer school during the summer break of each year. It encourages international exchange students to promote SeoulTech and invite other   international students to join the SeoulTech family.

This year’s program included basic Korean courses, courses on traditional Korean masks and dances as well as K-Pop dances. Students also visited the War Museum and Changkyeong Palace. In addition, they made traditional stamps, had Korean food experiences, watched the movie Gwanghae and experienced the rail bikes in Gangchon.

International Education Department Head Nam Ki Heon said, “The STISS program allows volunteer students and international students the opportunity to experience an international exchange and also promotes SeoulTech and Korean culture. We will work to increase our cooperation with international universities by offering additional diverse programs.”
