Received Best Poster Award in Micro Nano Engineering

Undergraduate students Jung Soonmin and Kim Dongha together with graduate students Oh Dong Kyo and Lee Seungjo of the SeoulTech Department of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering’s OKNano Lab (led by professor Ok Jong Gul) received the Best Poster Award at the NANO KOREA 2018 Symposium held at KINTEX, Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do from July 10 to 13.

The four participants presented their papers for the NANO KOREA 2018 Symposium on the topic of “Fab-free fabrication of flexible nonpattern patches by continuous nanoinscribing and low-temperature roll imprinting." The project was considered to contribute greatly to the development of science and technology and was selected to receive the Best Poster Award.

As the largest scientific nano science forum in Korea, the NANO KOREA Symposium has been jointly hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy annually since 2003. It aims to analyze major research achievements and the latest research trends at home and abroad, and seeks to expand the exchange of research results and researchers in related fields. Every year, 1,020 research papers are published in 26 countries. A total of 350 companies in 11 countries share technologies pertaining to nanotech.
