○ Appointed Member of National Academy of Engineering of Korea

SeoulTech President Kim, Jong-ho was appointed a member of the National Academy of Engineering of Korea in recognition of his contribution to the innovation of engineering education and the improvement of engineering educational quality. On March 20, the National Academy of Engineering of Korea held its 42nd Regular Meeting at the Westin Chosun Seoul, and appointed President Kim as a new member.

The National Academy of Engineering of Korea ( https://www.naek.or.kr ) is a special corporation and an academic institution for the discovery and support of outstanding engineering and technology researchers who have made a significant contribution to the development of engineering and technologies for the advancement of the country and of technologies.

○ Appointed Head of Organizing Committee of Embedded Software Contest

On March 21, SeoulTech President Kim, Jong-ho, was appointed head of the Organizing Committee of the 16th Embedded Software Contest.

The Embedded Software Contest was created in 2003 to foster software human resources for the industry through the discovery of creative and innovative embedded software development ideas. It is Korea's largest contest solely dedicated to embedded software, and is hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and jointly organized with the Korea Embedded Software and System Industry Association, and the Korea Evaluation Institute of Industrial Technology.

Detailed information about the 16th Embedded Software Contest, in which President Kim, Jong-ho will serve as head of the organizing committee, was made available on the official website of the contest ( http://eswcontest.com/htm/main.php ) in April.
