Wireless Internet Service Guide

SEOULTECH WI-FI

Seoultech Dream certification (unsecured WIFI)

  • - Select “Seoultech_dream” in Wi-Fi setup regardless of OS or type of mobile device
  • - Access internet and use service after entering ID/Password for the total information system.

Seoultech Wiz setup (secured WIFI)

Android phone
  • Wi-Fi setup: configuration – wireless/network – Wi-Fi setup -> select “Seoultech_wiz”
  • Enter information: EAP method =“PEAP”, 2nd stage certification = select “MSCHAPV2”, enter ID/Password for the total information system
iPhone
  • Wi-Fi setup: setup – Wi-Fi –Wi-Fi selection screen -> select “Seoultech_wiz”
  • Enter information: Enter ID/Password for the total information system
Windows XP
  • Open window for wireless network connection properties
  • Control panel > Network connection > Connect wireless network > Select “Modify advanced setup” on the left Add wireless network
  • Select “wireless network” tab in window for wireless network connection properties > Click “Add” in basic setup network
  • Enter network information
  • Connection information tab: Enter network name=Seoultech_wiz, network certification=WPA2, data code=AES
  • Certification tab: (1) Select EAP type=“secured EAP (PEAP)” and click “properties”
  • (2) Deselect “Check server certificate validity” 
  • (3) Select certification method=Select “EAP-MSCHAP v2”, click “configuration” and deselect – OK
  • Wireless internet connection and ID/Password input
  • Connect Seoultech_wiz wireless internet and enter ID/password for the total information system
Windows 7
  • Open network and sharing center
  • Control panel > Network and internet > Select network and sharing center
  • Add wireless network
  • “Wireless network management” on the left > Add > Select add network
  • Enter network information
  • Enter network name=Seoultech_wiz, network certification=WPA2-enterprise, data code=AES
  • Select modify connection setup and open “security” tab
  • Select network certification method = Select “Microsoft PEAP” and click “setup”
  • Deselect “Check server certificate validity”
  • Select certification method=Select “secured password(EAP-MSCHAP v2)”, click “configuration” and deselect – OK
  • Select “user certification” as certification mode in advanced setup of “security” tab
  • Then click “save credentials” – enter ID/Password of total information system and check connection
Macbook
  • Initialize wireless setup
  • Open AirPort setup window
  • · Wireless icon of menu bar on top of screen – execute Open Network Preference Initialize setup
  • · “Disconnect” 802.1x and click Advanced
  • · If Seoultech_wiz exists as Preferred Network in AirPort tab, delete
  • · If user profile related with Seoultech_wiz exists in 802.1x tab, delete
  • · Execute Utility – Key Chain and delete “securelogin.arubanetworks.com” Certificate and “802.1X Password” item
  • existing among login items
  • Setup
  • Open AirtPort setup window
(wireless icon of menu bar on top of screen – execute Open Network Preference)
  • · Add Preferred Networks setup
  • · Click “+” of Preferred Networks in AirPort tab
  • · Click Show Networks in ‘Enter the name of the network’ window
  • · Select Seoultech_wiz and enter ID/Password of total information system and click Add
  • · Click apply and select Continue in Verify Certificate window
  • · Enter Mac Account Password
  • Restart Macbook
  • Open AirtPort setup window (wireless icon of menu bar on top of screen – execute Open Network Preference)
  • Modify 802.1x profile setup
· Deselect TTLS, EAP-FAST for Authentication in 802.1x tab and apply – OK
  • Select Apply and complete setup
