  • By organizing a practical curriculum with close cooperation with the industry, SeoulTech provides tailored academic solutions that best address social needs. As a result, about 73.5% of graduates immediately landed jobs after their commencement compared to the 54.5% national average in 2011. According to the report by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, this marks the highest among Korea’s universities with more than 3,000 students.

Seoul TechnoPark

  • SeoulTech, together with Korea Electric Power Corporation and Korea Institute of Radiological & Medical Sciences, invested about 50 million Won to create a future-oriented industrial cluster, Seoul Technopolis, in and around the university campus. In particular, it elicits support from Seoul-based universities, research institutes, and companies in building expertise in nanotechnology, IT, biotechnology, and radiological medical service.
  • Seoul TechnoPark takes the initiative in industry-academic projects, such as fostering future talents and R&D. As many as 60 companies have settled in the Park, exerting their utmost efforts in developing technology and carrying out research activities.

STEP Program of Language Center

  • The center coordinates a variety of programs, including TOEIC, TOEFL, and free-talking classes, to help enhance students’ command of English. The winner of the annual STEP contest is awarded a chance to attend overseas language programs under the auspices of the university’s president. STEP Camp is an intensive program held during the summer and winter breaks, instilling confidence in the practice of the English language. Students may also build up their English skills during the school term by taking STEP Master programs that are provided free of charge.

Academic Exchange with Prestigious Schools and Overseas Scholarship System

  • SeoulTech trades professors and students based on the academic exchange agreements with 65 universities from 23 countries. The 21st Century Global Education Program (SEOULTECH21 overseas scholarship program) supports students’ living expenses, enabling them to pursue their major courses at the foreign universities.

Innovation Center for Engineering Education

  • Among the nation’s 60 universities specializing for an engineering education, SeoulTech was selected as one of the 5 Innovation Centers by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. The centers will foster a pool of market-ready talent, while supporting and leading innovative projects of the participating universities. SeoulTech successfully built a web-based database that keeps track of the project outcomes. Global Convergence Programs

  • In a response to ‘convergence’, a rising social trend that involves a collaboration of different industries to create new values, SeoulTech features convergence programs tailored for industry needs.
  • International Dual Degree Programs - MSDE and ITM
    Offered jointly by SeoulTech and the University of Northumbria in U.K., all lectures and evaluations are conducted in English beginning the sophomore year. The MSDE focuses on the production system and design, while the ITM features IT business, consulting, and systems engineering. The degrees from both SeoulTech and Northumbria are granted, provided that the eligibility requirements are met.
  • Integrating Engineering with Management - Global Technology Management Program
    Forging new links between the basic knowledge on the latest technology and management skills, the program is intended to promote an in-depth understanding on the innovations in the fields of technology, process, products, service, and industry. The degrees from both SeoulTech and Montclair State University in the U.S. are awarded, provided that the eligibility requirements are met.

Nearly 50% of Students are Scholarship Recipients

  • SeoulTech presents a total of 42 scholarship programs - 11 internal and 31 external. The recipients of these scholarships account for 48% of the total student body. The combined amounts are among the nation‘s highest, at 14% of the tuition fee.
